I was referred by my GP to see MR Kumar with my right knee pain .after an initial consultation Mr kumar arranged for myself to come to the hospital for an X-ray and MRI end of last year. Mr kumar put myself on waiting list for a right knee replacement . I had my surgery in January 2021 .mr kumar came to see me in my room ,before my surgery to see how I was and if I had any questions to ask him beforehand . .After my surgery mr kumar came to see me in recovery told me everything had gone well with the surgery . Mr kumar said he would come see me in hospital next day . True to his word ,Mr kumar came to visit me next day said I was looking so much better . I’ve always found Mr kumar very professional at all times and an excellant and knowledgable surgeon. I would say that mr kumar is very patient focused and goes the extra mile for his patients . My GP speaks very highly of him my go told me before my op that he had helped a lot of people and was very well respected . I would definitely recommend mr kumar to everyone .he has made a big difference in improving my quality of life since I had my surgery .I wouldn’t hesitate for him to do any other surgery I may need in the future . The spire have been fantastic ,since I was referred to them by my Gp ,all the staff that work at spire in Manchester were very caring and Lovley and I was very well looked after during my stay there . The food was fantastic to !!

I was a private patient who was treated by Mr Kumar at the Alexander Hospital in Cheadle. I had a total knee replacement in Feb under his care. It's 7weeks since my surgery and all l can say is 10million thanks to him and his team. I have been pain free since waking from my surgery and l am now on my way to a full recovery. Any of my friends who require Orthopedic Hip or Knee surgery l will be the first to recommend him. I am more than happy with the treatment l received under his care.

I am a retired nurse and midwife. From the first consultation with Mr Kumar he listened to my concerns and was attentive, polite and professional. My surgery was carried out very well and I am making a good recovery. I would highly recommend Mr Kumar for both his skills and all round care.

He gave options and a cooling off period if I wanted. He discussed what would happen beforehand and then again afterwards. Unfortunately I have a head like a sieve so rarely remember detail. All I can say was that my overall experience with Mr Amit Kumar was positive.
